Adult Ministries

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,'"
- Matthew 28:18

The Adult Ministry program at Long Meadow Chapel focuses on God’s desire for us to be disciples. It is a life-long pursuit that draws us closer to Him through His Word

Our current programs:

  • There is a Bible study class for adults of all ages every Sunday morning at 9am in Annex A
  • Life Groups are our adult small group ministry which meet on Tuesday at 7pm in a home setting
  • Men’s Ministry provides relevant, life-changing, “iron-sharpening” discipleship training that emphasizes application and memorization of God’s Word. It seeks to develop the leadership characteristics that God provides in His Word. Small group studies are held at the church
  • Women’s Ministry provides women-led Bible studies held at the church and various special events throughout the year

Men’s Ministries

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another"
- Proverbs 27:17

The Men’s Ministry at Long Meadow Chapel is dedicated to encouraging men to pursue and strengthen a life-changing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Strong, supportive relationships between Christian men are fostered by applying the Biblical perspective of “iron sharpening iron”. Each man is encouraged in the exciting journey of discovering the man who God has destined him to be, while equipping him to be a positive influence in his family and in the world around him.

Our current programs:

  • Annual retreats and weekly Bible studies.
  • planned excursions and activities help to forge long-lasting friendships and encourage the camaraderie of brotherhood.

Women’s Ministries

"Praise the Lord, all His heavenly hosts, you His servants who do His will."
- Proverbs 103:21

Women’s Ministry of Long Meadow Chapel exists to glorify God and to grow in the knowledge of Him. Women of all backgrounds and spiritual maturity levels are encouraged to participate in women-led Bible studies and various special events throughout the year.

The ministry has several objectives: to pray for and encourage, or to be “God’s hands of help and healing” for, the leaders of the church and its members; to study the Bible; to promote fellowship and accountability with other women by being God’s voice of encouragement; to serve God and one another in whatever ways He reveals; to be a safe haven and a beacon of light and hope to those who are lost and hurting; to lead other women to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Our current programs:

  • Weekly Bible study, Thursdays at 11am
  • Luncheons, teas and other special events to foster relationships among women in the church.
